I think that the governing bodies should be actively involved in protecting cultural diversity. One of the main reasons I think governments should be involved in protecting this is because they’re the one that can change it. Although I understand that random groups and random people can control things the government is what mainly controls us. If you think about it America almost everything controlled by money or the government. The government has a say in things and put founding into programs to help control certain things, like cultural diversity. I think have cultural diversity in every society is so important. It makes people grow more, people become more aware, and it is always good to know about other cultures and different ways people live.
I think the government should care about its history as well. A lot of times, societies still somewhat follow a government that was created by from awhile ago so if that’s the case why wouldn’t we want to preserve the culture as well. Also, the government has a lot to do with schooling and myself wanting to be a teacher, I think that the government should put more pressure of things such as physical activity and different cultures, and more. There are so many things education doesn’t focus on as much or at all that they should, and learning about other cultures and your places different cultures is so important. When I was researching I found some people are against protecting cultural diversity because some people are very much future based and who cares about the past and also that it may create a divide if people are constantly learning about their country's culture they will feel more competitive with other places. As much as I see both opinions I think that first, as much as I look forward it is always good to know and appreciate the past and don’t let things die or become forgotten just because there are more things out there. I also think that protecting cultural diversity doesn't have to just mean in your country, it can be all countires.

I just finished creating a newsletter as well as writing a short essay about Greece's education. It is located on my economics page. I encourage you to take a look at it and give me any feedbacks or comments you have. Thank you.
Globalization is where business start operating or goods start developing selling internationally. If a shirt is made in China and America from materials from India and Japan that is an example of globalization. Personally, I think globalization can be very beneficial to all societies. The interesting thing that I found when researching my country is that they have some globalization but not a lot. Greece is really well known for their history and cultures which is culture globalization, but they are behind of a more economically beneficiary of globalization. Because Greece is so much debt and getting out of that, they are slightly behind on globalization, however, they have so much cultural globalization now and so much history of it as well. I think globalization can definitely help society. For example, being able to learn about other cultures history and culture so easily is amazing and have completely changed our word. And most societies benefit someway from globalization. Even in Greece, they have bikes and cell phones and that is all thanks to globalization. The fact that so many people are interested in visited their country and learning more about their culture and history is thanks to globalization. Globalization is something I never really thought about before so I really enjoyed researching about this and seeing the huge impact is has had, currently has, and will keep having internationally. Societal roles of men and women in Greece, like a lot of other cultures and societies, have changed throughout the years. In Greece men used to be encouraged to be the dominant part of society and were engaged with politics and public events. While women were encouraged to stay home and take care of household chores and duties. The olympic games were for men only. The most interesting part of it was that the paler a women was the more wealthier they were because they were able to stay inside more often. However, in some Greece cities women were more encouraged to go out and be more apart of society, although, they were still beneath men.
I think it is sad the way men and women, mainly woman, used to be viewed in society. The way women were viewed in Greece is very similar how women used to be viewed in our society. I think that back then it was more common for all societies to view women like that because that is how almost all societies viewed woman and I honestly think it was the like social norm back then to treat women lesser than men. The societal roles and men and women, although increased still has problems many women are trying to overcome. Woman did fight and now have the opportunity to vote and an equal opportunity to work. However, there are still less women in the workforce. As for women's role in their homes they are still seen as the caretakers and doing certain duties, however, the roles between men and women aren’t as unequal and men are seen to have to do work as well as woman. I think Greece still has awhile to advance as far as men and women's roles. I know that in America most women now work so it was really surprising the hear that many women still don’t work. Also, for taking care of the household chores I definitely think it should be split equally and I think as time keeps advancing that idea will just become more and more present.
